Egg shells on guinea eggs are very thick. It's going to take a good light. You should see something at a week to 10 days.

Not much difference from chicken eggs on what to expect. As Sue noted, they can be difficult to see into so the totally dark room and new batteries in the flash light are a must. I don't candle...

just wanted to add that I have about 10 guineas and I have never seen them mate but 99% of my eggs are fertile. I just think that they are very quick LOL!!
